Bloom Drift (SH)

The drift is the tool used after the forepunch to prepare the shoe for the pritchel.
This tool is for making nail holes with thicker steel 3/8"  or greater.
Ok, this is how it works
  • When making a nail hole first use the forepunch(City Head or E-Head) for the size nail hole you need
  • Next use this tool, the Drift,  to push the nail hole nearly through the steel. I say nearly because this tool is for making holes of thick steel.
  • Last, follow up with a pritchel to finish getting through the steel and making a nice clean edge inside your nail hole.  The pritchel is a shearing tool to get than nail hole nice and clean.
  • Your done
