Bloom Drift
Bloom Drift (SH)
The drift is the tool used after the forepunch to prepare the shoe for the pritchel.
This tool is for making nail holes with thicker steel 3/8" or greater.
Ok, this is how it works
- When making a nail hole first use the forepunch(City Head or E-Head) for the size nail hole you need
- Next use this tool, the Drift, to push the nail hole nearly through the steel. I say nearly because this tool is for making holes of thick steel.
- Last, follow up with a pritchel to finish getting through the steel and making a nice clean edge inside your nail hole. The pritchel is a shearing tool to get than nail hole nice and clean.
- Your done
